At Petit Ballet Academy, we believe dance is about more than learning steps. Itโs about becoming the kind of person who carries those lessons with them far beyond the studio.
Throughout the year, our dancers learn the ๐ธ๐๐โ๐ก ๐ถโ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ข๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐โqualities that help shape not only strong dancers, but well-rounded individuals.
Our first trait of the year is ๐๐๐๐๐๐พ๐.
In the studio, we learn what it means to respect our teachers, classmates, our space, ourselves, and the art of dance. But more importantly, we learn how to take that respect with us into our everyday livesโhow we listen, how we communicate, how we treat others, and how we show kindness in all we do.
Learning character alongside dance helps our dancers develop skills that will serve them in school, friendships, future careers, families, and every stage of life.
Because at Petit Ballet Academy, weโre not just teaching dancers how to move.
Weโre helping them discover the meaning behind their movementโand who they are becoming along the way.
