I am SUPER excited to announce my new NCCDP certification as a Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT)! This allows me to teach the ADDC seminar LIVE or via Zoom.

Certification: Passing the 7-hour training, "Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar" (ADDC) Seminar supports the pathway for candidates (only if approved eligible by the NCCDP) to apply for the Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) designation.

It also allows candidates to pursue the Alzheimer's Association "essentiALZ" Certification, with ADDC seminar as a required training pre-requisite.

Please let me know if you or your organization is interested in running a training for your staff. Typically, the cost is $220 per person for a 9am-5pm training, including lunch and the student handbook. (Other options for splitting class time and/or discounts can be made for organizations).

I am really looking forward to providing this dementia training to caregivers!

What a wonderful event celebrating Social Workers month. Thank you, Ascend hospice and Care One at Lowell for sponsoring the event. It was a lovely luncheon and opportunity to network. Finished with my important CEU presentation, “Supporting the Supporter: Recognizing and Preventing Burnout for Sustainable Caregiving.” Participants also received an accompanying workbook that I created for self reflection and adopting tools and techniques to combat caregiver stress and burnout.
