🏆💙 THAT'S A WRAP on the Babe Ruth Softball All-Star tournament trail for our East Side Softball All Stars! 💙🏆

No regional titles this year, but these teams brought home everything else that matters. Unforgettable softball, unbreakable friendships, memories they'll be talking about for years. 🥎 Pre-game dance parties 🎶 gutsy comeback wins, little sisters cheering for the big girls, and big sisters showing up for them right back. The last two weeks were All Star softball at its absolute best.

Huge shoutout to our athletes and coaches who battled record-breaking heat and represented East Side with heart, grit, and total class. We are SO proud of every single one of you.

And can we talk about the LONG BALL this summer?! In the past two tourneys, ALL THREE age groups had a player go yard:
💣 8U — Paisley Johnson, regional bracket play
💣 10U — Mila de Oliviera, BACK-TO-BACK homers in state pool play
💣 12U — Bennett Harding, an absolute bomb in state pool play

🔹 11U & 12U: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Tryouts are conducted separately by age group. Please attend the session that corresponds to your player’s 2027 age division.

Important: Registering for tryouts does not guarantee a spot on a team.

Congratulations to Rodney Hubbard, recipient of the 2026 Pierson Sult Courage & Determination Award! 🏆⚾

This award honors the legacy of Pierson Sult, an East Side baseball player, whose courage, determination, relentless work ethic, and positive spirit inspired everyone around him during his battle with cancer. Each year, this award recognizes a player who embodies those same qualities—on the field and in everyday life.

Rodney exemplifies the perseverance, sportsmanship, and positive attitude that made Pierson such an inspiration to the East Side community. We are proud to recognize him with this special honor.

Thank you to all of this year's nominees for representing the very best of East Side Baseball, and thank you to the Sult family for allowing us to continue honoring Pierson's remarkable legacy.

Just before the 7:00 PM State Babe Ruth Softball All-Star championship games kicked off this past Sunday, our 12U East Side All-Stars made their way over to the 8U field, chanting and cheering for their little sisters before both teams took the field to play for a state championship. 💙🥎

Not that long ago, a lot of these 12U girls were the ones playing on that little field. Sunday, they came back to show out for the next generation.

The two teams got together for one big East Side pre-championship cheer, then headed off to their own fields. After the final outs, they found each other again. This time, comparing championship hardware as the sun went down on one heck of a weekend.

This is what it's all about. The medals and banners are great, but watching these older girls show up for the younger ones... That's the stuff you actually remember.
So proud of these girls, their coaches, and our whole East Side family. ❤️💙

With this victory, Elite 13U Harding has now captured tournament championships in Indiana, Ohio, and Wisconsin this season! Way to go, Elite!
