Recreation center is to inspire and enable people to realize, magnify, and achieve their full potential through committed, supervised instruction, educational initiatives, and community outreach to support the development of individual’s future endeavors. The MLK Center offers after-school recreation programs, summer fun camps, senior programs, adult fitness, men's and women's fitness programs, and more!

VPA Coed Youth Basketball is looking for dedicated volunteer coaches to help make a positive impact on young athletes this season.

Coaching is a great opportunity to teach fundamental basketball skills, encourage teamwork and sportsmanship, and help kids build confidence both on and off the court.

The season takes place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Center, with practices beginning the week of October 19 and games running through December.
