Reins of Life - Therapeutic horseback riding

We have a yummy way for everyone to support Reins of Life!
Next Tuesday, July 21st, the Culver's in LaPorte is holding a giveback to support Reins of Life. All you need to do is go order lunch, dinner, or a sweet treat, either in the restaurant or through the drive through and tell them that you are there for the Give Back! A portion of all sales will come directly to Reins.

We're always looking for caring, dependable volunteers to help make a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve. Volunteers must be 13 years or older, and no horse experience is required. We'll provide the training!

Twenty-two employees from the Chesterton branch of CAPTRUST recently came out to our Michigan City facility for a service day. They painted arena equipment, painted the arena doors, trimmed brush around our pond and on the trails, conditioned some leather equipment, steam cleaned some furniture, cleaned paddocks, worked in our gardens and more. We appreciate their support and their effort to keep our facility looking great!

Who knew our horses would need a water delivery service today?

A huge THANK YOU to Saint Joseph County Fire Territory - Station 18 for coming to the rescue and replenishing our water while we're dealing with an issue at our South Bend barn.

Our horses are happy, hydrated, and very appreciative (even if they didn't say it themselves). Thanks for helping keep everyone comfortable!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the Reins of Life Driving Show last Sunday! We are so grateful for our participants, families, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and everyone who joined us to cheer on our amazing team.

We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have accomplished. Their hard work, determination, and smiles made the day unforgettable! And our equine partners just rocked it!

Thank you for helping make this event such a success and for supporting our therapeutic carriage driving program. We couldn't do it without this wonderful community. We look forward to seeing you at our next event! 🐴💙

For the month of July both Kabelin Ace Hardware locations in Michigan City will be rounding up for Reins! We appreciate the support of our local communities and the other organizations and businesses that call them home!

Reins is hosting our 5th Annual Driving Fun Show this weekend!

It is free to come watch so we hope to see lots of folks here to cheer on local horse owners from our community who will be here competing alongside many of Reins of Life's students and volunteers.

The event is being held at our Michigan City Facility and will start at 10:30 Central Time on Sunday.
