This is what creates a safe, trusting and loving space for your teenagers...so that they feel safe to share their life with you.

So many teens fear their parents' punitive responses, that they keep it to themselves, and the teens choices might even put themselves in danger.

Even when things feel out of control (because these days...wow), what you CAN control, is how you communicate to one another--to those you work with, those you love, those you don't, those you teach, those you help.

ALL of the skills needed to communicate with respect, care and honesty, can be learned. Tom showed us how, so let's do this, okay?? Okay.

Today, 26th of August, marks 24 years since Tom's passing. What a gift he gave the world--thank you, Tom Gordon. We love you. We miss you.
