ONE TOWN. TWO SIDELINES. ONE VOICE. 🇺🇸

Friday night didn’t end the way we wanted it to. Glacier Peak came ready to play, they earned the win, and we congratulate them.

Raising the Standard means being honest about our performance, too. We didn’t get the result we came for. We own that. We’ll learn from it and we’ll get back to work.

And that can be true while something else is true, too.

👉🏻 Friday night was bigger than the final score.

Before the coin toss. Before kickoff. Before two teams took opposite sidelines, Veterans Memorial Stadium came together.

The stadium was filled beyond capacity. Red on one side. Blue on the other. People filled the grass and stood wherever they could find room.

Two football programs. Two bands. Two student sections. Players, coaches, cheerleaders, alumni, families, veterans and generations of this community.

And on the 25th anniversary of September 11, both bands began to play our National Anthem.

And then Veterans Memorial Stadium sang.

Thousands of voices. Together.

When the final note faded, that same stadium fell silent to remember.

Before we were opponents, we were neighbors.

ONE TOWN.
TWO SIDELINES.
ONE VOICE.

Then the whistle blew, and the rivalry was every bit as real as we promised it would be.

So is the result. Glacier Peak earned this one.

And so is our standard, our work ethic, our heart.

THE STANDARD WAS SET.
LAST WEEK, WE RAISED IT.

A road trip.
A season-opening W.
And one heck of a way to start 2026.

Now we take that momentum home.

Tomorrow night, the 1976 + 1978 Panthers will be back at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

And the 2026 Panthers have some business to handle.

One generation coming home to be honored.

Another taking the field to carry it forward.

1–0. NEXT ONE.

See you at Veterans. ❤️🤍

We’ve spent a lot of time this week talking about 50 years ago.

So let’s talk about LAST WEEK.

Two hours from home.
On the road.
Season opener.

And the Panthers came home with a W.

Not just a win. A statement.

This team traveled south, walked onto somebody else’s field, and showed exactly what they’ve been working toward.

1–0.

Now we bring it home.

Tomorrow night, the lights come on at Veterans Memorial Stadium for the first time this season, with generations of Panthers watching, a whole town behind them, and some pretty incredible history waiting on the sidelines.

The past has given us plenty to celebrate.

Now it’s this team’s turn to write something of their own.

HOME OPENER.
THROWBACK.
TOMORROW.

TOMORROW.

There are Friday nights, and then there are nights that become part of the story of a town.

Tomorrow is one of those nights.

Twenty-five years after September 11, we will gather at Veterans Memorial Stadium and begin the evening with a moment of remembrance for a day our country will never forget.

Fifty years after the undefeated 1976 Panthers began a season that ended with a State Championship, we will welcome home members of the 1976 and 1978 undefeated Panther football teams, honor them at halftime, and watch another generation of Snohomish Panthers take the same field wearing jerseys inspired by the ones that came before them.

And all of it happens here.

In the heart of Snohomish.
At Veterans Memorial Stadium.
With generations of Panthers in the same place, on the same night.

This isn’t something we’re recreating next year. There isn’t another 50th anniversary. There isn’t another 25th anniversary of 9/11. This is the night.

Come early. Bring the family. Wear your RED + WHITE. Dig out the old Panther gear and the letterman jackets. Fill the tailgate. Fill the stadium. Be loud. Be proud. Be part of it.

IT TAKES A TOWN. ❤️🤍

Throwback was never meant to belong to just one team.

It belongs to the people who played here before us. The families who filled these stands. The businesses that have been part of this community for generations. The alumni who still hear “Snohomish” and know exactly what that means.

And it takes all of them to make a night like Friday possible.

Spada Farmhouse Brewery brings a Panther legacy that quite literally stretches across generations, from Mark Spada and the teams we’re honoring to his grandson Jack wearing a Panther jersey today.

Chick-fil-A Soper Hill continues to show up for our football program, generously supporting our players and stepping in whenever we’ve asked for help.

Gagnon Welding is a longtime Snohomish-area business that stepped forward to help us celebrate this piece of our town’s history.

And then there are the Ingalls. Six Snohomish alumni who simply wanted to financially support this night and help make it something special.

Different businesses. Different families. Different generations.

One hometown.

That’s what Throwback is really about.

Nearly 50 years separate the Panthers we’re honoring Friday night from the boys who will run onto that same turf in throwback jerseys. But the community surrounding them?

It’s still here.

Thank you Spada Farmhouse Brewery, Chick-fil-A Soper Hill, Gagnon Welding and the Ingalls family for helping us bring generations of Panthers home. ❤️🤍

THIS ONE IS PERSONAL. ❤️🤍

Okay, Panther people. This one feels a little weird to write because, hi. It’s me. I’m the person behind this account and this night. 😂

But when we started dreaming up Throwback and asking local businesses to invest in this night, I knew I couldn’t ask our community to step up for something I wasn’t willing to invest in myself.

So Brea Bursch – Photographer became a headlining partner, too.

And honestly, there was never much of a question.

I make my living telling stories in photographs. I believe deeply in preserving the pieces of our lives that someday become history. And over these last several months, I’ve had the incredible privilege of being the one to dig through 50+ years of Panther football, old photographs, newspaper clippings, rosters, names, stories and memories, while watching today’s boys build a chapter of their own.

I’m also raising Panthers.

I sit in these stands. I photograph these sidelines. I serve this program. I know these families and these kids. Snohomish isn’t simply where I do business. It’s home.

Friday night is about honoring the people who built this legacy, celebrating the kids carrying it now, and making sure the stories connecting those generations aren’t lost along the way.

My business gets to help make that happen.

And I’m pretty proud we live in a town where that is important. ❤️🤍

Here’s to the Panthers who came before us, the ones wearing the jersey today, and all the stories still waiting to be told.
