In Muay Thai, we use low kicks to help slow our partner down and practice good balance. When we throw a low kick, we turn our hips, stay balanced, and bring our hands back up to protect ourselves.
Think of it like trying to gently tap a soccer ball with good technique. It's not about kicking as hard as you can. It's about kicking the right way.
Low kicks help us learn balance, coordination, and control, which are important skills for every Muay Thai student.

Theme of the Week: Low Kicks 🦵🥊
This week we're focusing on one of the most effective weapons in Muay Thai: the low kick.
Low kicks target the legs, helping to slow movement, disrupt balance, and wear opponents down over time. A well-timed low kick can make it harder for an opponent to move, defend, and generate power as the rounds go on.
Power comes from proper technique, hip rotation, and landing with the shin. Simple in theory, but highly effective when done correctly.

Pads popping, kicks flying, and everyone putting in work. Whether you're here for fitness, technique, or competition, every class is a chance to get a little better.
There's a Rebel in all of us 👊
Every technique starts with instruction, but it gets built through partner drills. That's where timing improves, details get cleaned up, and movements start becoming second nature.
Watch. Learn. Drill. Repeat. That's how progress is made. 👊
