Yesterday marked the end of an incredible high school football career as Nick Zins took the field one final time in the National Football Foundation NYC vs. Long Island All-Star Classic.

For four years, Nick was the definition of toughness and consistency, starting at linebacker from the moment he stepped onto the varsity field as a freshman. One of the most physical positions in football, and one he played with relentless effort every single snap.

His story started with a memorable sack against Smithtown East as a freshman, with whole student section chanting his name. Four years later, he’s still making those same game-changing plays and leaving his mark on every Friday night.

But what makes Nick special goes far beyond football. He is a true leader whose actions spoke louder than words. The type of teammate who set the standard through hard work, toughness, and the way he carried himself every day.

Thank you, Nick, for everything you’ve given to this program. Your impact on Smithtown West Football will be felt long after your final snap.
