We may be completely out of our minds... but now that the newest house is built, we've turned our focus to 2 other projects on the main house. Time to build the backyard oasis, and turn the front step into a gorgeous front porch where we can sit and enjoy the sunset every evening.

Here is a peaceful 2:00 of 'calm'. Rain on the barn roof. Put me to sleep!! And I can think of worse company lol. Have to get our injured boy where it's dry so that wrap stays on. It's the oddly satisfying last few minutes for me. Pick your favorite 30 seconds segment.

Meet the 6th member of our herd! His name is Jamey's Flyin' (actually his registered name so it was meant to be! 🥰). He is a 3 yr old steele grey Thoroughbred and the most handsome boy I've ever seen. My daughter has appropriately nicknamed him "JJ" after my favorite band, JJ Grey and Mofro!

A lot of work in 4 days, but it is finally complete. Our newest run in to help the horses escape the heat and elements. It does come with two installed fans to help them stay as cool as possible. Just in time for our new addition tomorrow... Oops, did I spoil something?? 🤪 😉
