There is something about a horse that can feel almost impossible to explain.
They sense our moods before we speak. They offer comfort without asking questions and remember the people who have treated them with kindness. Sometimes, the way they look into our eyes makes it feel as though they understand far more than we realise.
For many people, the bond with a horse goes beyond companionship. It feels spiritual—as though beneath their strength, sensitivity and quiet presence lies something eternal.
Science may never be able to prove whether animals have souls, but perhaps those who have truly loved a horse already know what they believe.
