What an absolute whirlwind of a weekend at the Missouri Taekwondo Institute! We are still smiling from all the energy, hard work, and celebration that took place over the last two days.

We kicked things off Saturday morning with our Fitness Plus Demo Day. Everyone brought their A-game, showing incredible focus, strength, and community spirit. It was the perfect way to get the weekend moving.

The energy stayed high right into Saturday afternoon as we celebrated Seth’s 6th birthday party! Happy Birthday, Seth! We had a blast playing games, sharing laughs, and celebrating with you and your friends. Thank you for choosing to spend your special day with your MTI family.

Finally, we wrapped up the weekend on Sunday with our trophy building session. Seeing the pride on our students' faces as they put together the rewards of their hard work is always one of our favorite moments.

We aren't slowing down yet, either—all of this hard work leads right into this coming weekend as our team heads to the SEMO Martial Arts Championships! We can't wait to see our students shine on the tournament floor.

Thank you to everyone—our students, families, and instructors—who made this past weekend so memorable. We love our MTI community!

Wow, what an incredible morning of testing for our next belt ranks at the Missouri Taekwondo Institute! I am so proud of everyone who stepped up to demonstrate their skills and dedication. The effort and focus shown today were inspiring, proving that all your hard work is paying off. Congratulations again to all who tested!

Hello MTI Family,

We’re excited to announce the upcoming SEMO Martial Arts Championships on September 26 at the Cape Girardeau Sportsplex!

This event is open to students of all ages and ranks, including beginner divisions, which makes it a great opportunity for everyone to participate, gain experience, and have fun. Whether this is your first tournament or you’ve competed before, we encourage all eligible students to be part of this special day.

Tournaments are a wonderful way for students to build confidence, sharpen their skills, and strengthen their martial arts spirit. Just as importantly, they create great memories and bring our school community together. Beginner divisions are available, so this is a great first tournament for new students and advanced belts alike!

More event details, including schedule, divisions, registration information, and preparation expectations, will be shared soon. If you have questions in the meantime, please reach out to our staff.

We hope to see a big showing from our school at the SEMO Martial Arts Championships. Let’s represent with great attitude, strong effort, and excellent sportsmanship.
