Did you know that the Rising Sun Run course is USATF-certified? That means race times on our course are accepted as official qualifiers for major races like the Boston Marathon and can count for national rankings or state/national records! Packet pickup this year is on Friday, 6 November from 5pm to 6:30pm and Saturday (event day), 7 November beginning at 6:30am for half marathoners and 7:00am for 5K runners.

The courses: 5k is a mostly flat, straight up and back route with one turnaround point. The half marathon is a bit more challenging and takes you to 5500' of elevation to the turnaround at the Ramsey Canyon Preserve. On the way down to the half marathon finish line, you'll enjoy views of the San Pedro River valley to the end of the run. Both courses are USA Track & Field certified. :)
