Want to be part of Sidney Dance Company’s 2027 production of Swan Lake? Join us for AUDITIONS — Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Sharon's School of Dance

We are seeking dancers of all ages, genders, and experience levels!

1-2pm ages 3-7
2-3pm ages 8-12
3-4pm ages 13+

You do not need to prepare anything in advance. Dancers will learn and perform a short dance combination for the audition.

Please wear dance or comfortable clothing and dance shoes or socks.

If cast, performers will be asked to contribute a small fee ($20) toward costume dry-cleaning. Costumes are provided by the Sidney Dance Company. Shoes, tights, and hair/makeup materials will be supplied by the performer.

Rehearsals will be held on Saturdays, 11am-4pm and Sundays, 1pm-5pm. Performers will not be called to rehearsal every weekend, or for the entire timeframe each weekend. Conflicts should be listed on your audition form.

Performances will be February 2027.

Sidney Dance Company has had a BUSY few weeks! From scooping ice cream at the Dairy Boosters barn at the Shelby County Fair, to participating in National Night Out, and finally, a live performance during Relay4Life, these dancers have had an outstanding start to the 2026-2027 season. Stay tuned as we head into the start of classes, auditions, and rehearsals for our upcoming season! We’re excited to share it all with you, our amazing and supportive Sidney community!

Sidney Dance Company is a non-profit, pre-professional, youth dance organization dedicated to providing dance education, performance opportunities, community outreach, and appreciation for the performing arts in Shelby County and throughout the surrounding areas.
