So if you're looking for something new and exciting to do in the Shipshewana area come join us. At T & L Country Canoes LLC and rent a canoe or kayak. We are proud to give locals and visitors an exciting wilderness adventure on the scenic fawn river, 7 miles northeast of Shipshewana. This will be our 1st year in business, so if you need a break from shopping or just want something new to do come enjoy a leisurely trip down the scenic fawn river the way the Potawatomi Indians use to do for hundred of years. Most of the river is unchanged for hundred of years. Week days or weekends trips give canoers and kayakers the opportunity to experience the scenic fawn river. Early or late in the day you could see the wildlife that abounds in this wilderness area. So come enjoy some quiet time with family and friends. Some of the wildlife are all types of birds, deer, muskrats, beavers, raccoons, geese, ducks, otters, mink, herons, sand cranes, frogs, turtles, butterflies, and snakes. We currently have 3 voyages planned for our 1st year from 1 1/2 up to 4 1/2 hours. So bring your coolers and come join us.
