♥️A Heartfelt Thank You♥️
With the 2026 Shawano Speedway season and Shawano County Fair officially in the books, we want to thank everyone who helped us through a year filled with memorable moments and difficult challenges.
Between an entire summer of racing and six busy days of the fair, countless hours were spent preparing, organizing, cleaning, repairing and working behind the scenes. None of this happens because of one person—it takes an entire community working together.
To our sponsors, thank you for believing in and supporting Shawano Speedway and the Shawano County Fair. Your generosity makes our weekly racing, special events, entertainment, exhibits, activities and family traditions possible. Please continue to support the businesses and organizations that support us.
Thank you to the Shawano Area Agricultural Society Board, Race Committee, Fair Office staff, department superintendents, maintenance and grounds crews, ticket and gate workers, concession and beverage stand workers, volunteers, EMS team and emergency personnel. Thank you to everyone who arrived early, stayed late and stepped in wherever help was needed.
To our drivers, race teams, car owners, crews and fans, thank you for spending your Saturday nights with us on the legendary half mile. A special thank-you also goes to our announcers, flagmen, tower workers, track crew, safety crew, officials, photographers and media members who worked hard and kept each race night moving to the best of their ability.
We also appreciate every sponsor, family and volunteer who supported the Kids Pit Crew Club and helped create special memories for the next generation of race fans.
Thank you to our fair vendors, commercial exhibitors, carnival workers, entertainers, grandstand crews, food vendors and everyone who helped create a welcoming fair experience.
A very special thank-you goes to our 4-H members, youth exhibitors, families, leaders and volunteers. Your hard work, responsibility and pride are truly at the heart of the Shawano County Fair.
Were things perfect this year? No. We tried some new things, and there was trial and error along the way. We learned a lot and are already working on improvements for the 2027 Speedway season and Shawano County Fair.
Even through the challenges and difficult moments, we continued to push forward as a team. We showed up, supported one another and kept going.
Will we give up? Absolutely not. This is our home. This is our family.❤️
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came through our gates. Whether you joined us for racing, food, rides, music, grandstand entertainment, exhibits or time with family and friends, you are the reason these traditions continue.
There are far too many people to thank individually, but please know that every helping hand, sponsorship, race car, fair entry, kind word and visit made a difference.
