In a matchup of teams ranked in the NAIA top 15, the Concordia University Nebraska - Volleyball team made it a lopsided affair. A 12-4 advantage in the blocking department did the trick as the second-ranked Bulldogs won at No. 12 Dakota Wesleyan, 25-22, 25-17, 25-18, in Mitchell, S.D., on Saturday (Sept. 26). In the middle, Bella Hedke and Makenna Starkey contributed to six blocks apiece as the host Tigers hit just .058 for the afternoon. Head Coach Ben Boldt's squad (15-2, 6-0 GPAC) will be back inside Friedrich Arena for matches next Friday-Saturday (Oct. 2-3).

A closely contested first half turned into a comfortable victory for high-powered and 16th-ranked Dordt on the home turf of the Concordia Bulldogs Football team. In defeat, Carlos Collazo churned out 113 yards on the ground and Gideon Stark and Adam Van Cleave connected on a 75-yard second quarter touchdown bomb. However, the Defenders controlled the ball (39:20 possession time) and rolled to a 51-21 win inside Bulldog Stadium on Saturday (Sept. 26) afternoon. Head Coach Patrick Daberkow's squad will play at Northwestern next Saturday.

The ascent of Concordia University, Nebraska Powerlifting continues as the program enters year five of its existence. The “Freddie Effect” has taken hold for a Bulldog team that returns four 2026 All-Americans that helped last season's squad earn nationals place finishes of fifth on the women's side and sixth on the men's side. Expectations are understandably high for Head Coach Freddie Myles' program. The season will get started next Saturday (Oct. 3) with the CUNE Collegiate Powerlifting Meet.

Another trip to Sioux Falls put the Bulldogs up against strong competition. Concordia University, Nebraska - Cross Country emerged with place finishes of 10th on the women's side and 11th on the men's side at the Augustana Invite on Friday (Sept. 25) morning. Head Coach Matt Beisel's squads were paced by senior Aidan Limback on the men's side and freshman Hope Beck on the women's side. The Bulldogs will return to action next Saturday (Oct. 3) at the Briar Cliff Invite.

In the waning moments, two freshmen found lightning in a bottle for the Bulldogs to roar back and defeat Doane (2-1) in the final minutes on Wednesday. A dominant opening frame set the tone as the second-ranked Concordia University Nebraska - Volleyball team earned a road win at rival Doane, 25-12, 25-21, 25-20, on Wednesday (Sept. 23). Junior outside hitter Shandy Fa’ali’i blemished the blacktop in Crete with 16 kills in an overall strong outing. The stout Bulldog block flustered the Tigers into hitting .109 inside their home gym. Head Coach Ben Boldt's squad will carry a 5-0 GPAC mark (14-2 overall) into Saturday's trip to No. 12 Dakota Wesleyan.

The Bulldogs accomplished their aim of sharpening their fundamentals on Wednesday (Sept. 23) while taking care of rival Doane in three sets. Concordia remains unbeaten in the GPAC at 5-0.

The win streak over Doane continues for Concordia University, Nebraska - Women's Soccer! The Bulldogs got a goal apiece from Kianna Perez and Guadalupe Sanchez on Wednesday (Sept. 23) and blanked the Tigers, 2-0, in Crete. Head Coach Jason Weides' squad has moved to 2-0 in league play (3-2-2 overall) heading into Saturday's home matchup with Morningside.

In wrapping up the final round of the Bent Tree Intercollegiate on Tuesday (Sept. 22), the Concordia University, Nebraska - Golf men's team remained in ninth place. Head Coach Brett Muller’s squad shot 314-306-313–933 (+69) for the tournament. Individually, sophomore Logan Krabbenhoft emerged as the top Dawg and placed 31st out of 59 golfers in the tournament field. Next up will be the Nebraska Intercollegiate on Oct. 5-6.

In wrapping up the final round of the Bent Tree Intercollegiate on Tuesday (Sept. 22), Concordia Men's Golf remained in ninth place. Logan Krabbenhoft topped the Bulldogs from an individual perspective.

🏆 Make it back-to-back tournament championships for the Concordia University, Nebraska - Golf women's team!

The Bulldogs claimed the York Invite tournament title on Tuesday (Sept. 22) while holding off GPAC rival College of Saint Mary by a single stroke. Individually, Maddie Lewis, Savannah McFalls and Mia Ochsner each placed in the top five. Head Coach Brett Muller's squad will wrap up the fall season at the Nebraska Intercollegiate on Oct. 5-6.
