As we look forward here at the Yakima Elks Lodge #318 it looks like we have another wonderful week ahead, alas change is coming however and with it cooler weather, shorter hours of Operation and of course. Pants to play golf in!

The October Schedule for Bar and Restaurant is one such change as well!
Starting in October the Bar and restaurant will be closed Monday And Tuesdays- Hours Wednesdays-Sundays will remain as posted.

In OCTOBER we will be having two big SEAHAWK GAME DAY PARTIES at the Club!! 12th man specials in food and drink! October 4th and 11th -Come join us for Hawks, food, friends and fun!! Maybe some special happenings going on as well!

One thing that hasn't changed is our love for the Lodge and the HAWKS!!! Check out October Trumpet and Update screens in the Lodge for more information!!

Enjoy the last few really nice days of the month before the weather changes..... Tee it high and let it Fly!

Cart Shed Announcement:

Yakima Elks Members, we hope that the Late Summer and Early Fall time is treating you all well. We have some reminders about the cart sheds here at the Yakima Elks. Everyone who occupies a cart shed has signed a ‘Golf Cart Shed Rental Agreement’ for that shed.
No Sub leasing of Sheds is allowed! This also includes the Sale of a Golf Cart …. If you as a member sell your cart – the Shed that you occupy does not transfer to the new owner!

The Sheds are owned by the Yakima Elks and are non-transferrable to someone who purchases a golf cart for sale.
We would also like to remind you all to take the opportunity before this Fall turns into Winter, to take any items not needed in the Sheds to your homes please. Also, please return any Practice Ball Baskets you may have accidentally left in your cart or shed to the Pro Shop.
There will be an Audit of the Cart Sheds this winter, and please make sure you have an Elks Issued Lock from the Pro Shop!!
As we saw last winter if we as the Lodge and Staff cant get into the sheds - we cant help when needed! No More Self owned Locks please!!
Speaking of sheds, there is a Wait List in the Pro Shop and Office of the Elks, a Move Up list, and Move Over List of current members also for the next season. If you want to be on ANY of those lists you MUST fill out a Sigh Up Card in the Office of the Elks or Pro Shop with Date and Phone Numbers PLEASE....

Lastly, if you are going to be moving, selling your cart, changing golf clubs, or for any other reason not going to renew your shed for April of 2027, PLEASE let Tamara know in the Elks Office at your soonest convenience..

We hope you have all enjoyed the Golf Course as much as we have this season and we look forward to a great Fall Golfing Season here at the Yakima Elks !!

25 Years Later, We Still Remember.

This September 11 marks 25 years since our nation lost nearly 3,000 Americans — firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and ordinary citizens whose courage defined one of our darkest days.

For more than 157 years, the Elks have stood for unity, patriotism, and service to our communities. This anniversary, Lodges across Washington and the nation are coming together through Patriots Day ceremonies and community events to remember those we lost, honor those who served, and recommit to the communities they gave so much to protect.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Dear Members,

I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our First Annual End of Summer Party such a great success!

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, helped with setup and during the event, and to all of you who came out and enjoyed the day. It was wonderful to see our membership come together, enjoy some great food, have some fun, and most importantly, enjoy the great company of one another.
This was our First Annual End of Summer Party, and I hope it becomes something we can continue to do for years to come.

Please take time to thank Tamara for the fun event and offer any feedback to make it even better next Summer!

$6,456,088 in donations.

Washington Elks created a $14,606,243.74 charitable impact across communities throughout our state in 2025–2026.

Even more important: WE REPORTED IT.

Every volunteer hour, mile, & dollar. Each act of service matters, and when we take the time to record it, those individual efforts become a goldmine of information that tells the story of who the Elks really are and what we really do.

Numbers like these help us show our communities, our elected leaders, our prospective members, and current members the incredible difference Elks make every single day. They give your members that prideful feeling that encourages them to renew each year.

This is our story. And these numbers help us tell it.
So keep reporting. Keep recording. Keep serving.
