The trail leading into Max Starcke Park East will be temporarily closed on:

⏰ 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM
The closure is necessary to accommodate the Navarro ISD Cross Country Race as our local student athletes hit the course! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏅
🚶‍♀️ TRAIL USERS:
The walking trail will be closed during this time. Please plan ahead and use an alternate route.
🥏 DISC GOLFERS:
Portions of the disc golf course may be impacted during the event. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as the race takes place.

These Learn to Play Clinics are in partnership with Starcke Park Golf Course.

These one-hour long Youth Golf Clinics will introduce youth ages 7-13 to the game of golf in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment while helping them develop skills, confidence, and sportsmanship.

The purpose of these youth golf clinics is to teach the fundamentals of golf while fostering a lifelong enjoyment of the game. Participants learn basic skills such as grip, stance, swing, putting, chipping, driving and golf etiquette through engaging, age-appropriate activities. These clinics also emphasizes important life skills including patience, honesty, respect, perseverance, and good sportsmanship. By creating a positive and supportive atmosphere, these clinics help young golfers build confidence, make new friends, stay active, and develop a love for golf that can last a lifetime.

Cost: $5/participant/clinic

Volleyball Serving:
Saturday, August 29th 2026
Grades 1-4 8am-10am | Grades 5-8 10am-12pm | Cost is $20/participant
This is a one (1) day clinic. The goal of this recreational co-ed youth volleyball serving clinic is for those in grades 1 to 8 to be given the opportunity to establish fundamental, consistent serving techniques—both underhand and overhand—while building confidence, accuracy, and proper mechanics, such as a firm hand, consistent toss, and high elbow.

This one (1) day clinic will take place at the OUTDOOR COURTS at the Seguin Volleyball Complex located at 950 S Austin Street in Seguin, Texas. The courts at this complex are clay. No inclement weather date is set for this clinic. This clinic will be held, rain or shine, just not in threatening weather.

Volleyball Setting/Hitting:
Saturday, August 22nd 2026
Grades 1-4 8am-10am | Grades 5-8 10am-12pm | Cost is $20/participant
This is a one (1) day clinic. The goal of this recreational co-ed youth volleyball setting/hitting clinic is for those in grades 1 to 8 to be given the opportunity to establish hitting fundamentals, consistent hand position, body positioning for accuracy, and basic hitting approach footwork to generate power. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn setting fundamentals such as transfer of body weight, creating a diamond and to push up from your hips all the way through to your fingertips with a soft touch.
This one (1) day clinic will take place at the OUTDOOR COURTS at the Seguin Volleyball Complex located at 950 S Austin Street in Seguin, Texas. The courts at this complex are clay.
