Great Firecracker 5k race at Highlands Hammock State Park!! It was the largest attended event in 32 years of putting the race on to benefit the Avon Park High School running program.

We apologize for the confusion and thank everyone for their patience with the results. Our software system was glitching in the beginning. We are switching software systems, especially after today, to RaceDayScoring which is made by RunSignUp for all of our future races. If anyone has any questions regarding the results from today, feel free to message us directly!

Also, if everyone can keep Tommy in their prayers. He was the gentleman who fell just before the finish line. He runs in all of our races and got dehydrated and over heated.

We appreciate everyone who came out and if anyone would like to run with a group, the Reyes Running Club in Lake Placid runs weekly.

We are exactly one month out from Highlands County's SECOND biggest race, and it is commemorating a big milestone this year.
Join us for the 32nd Annual Firecracker 5k, celebrating 250 years of our Nation's Independence!

To be held on Saturday July 4th at the Highlands Hammock State Park. Race starts at 8 a.m. Registration opens at 7 a.m.
