Free Summer Meals with Seattle Parks and Recreation, Seattle Human Services Department, and United Way of King County are officially back.
This free program runs Mondays through Fridays from June 29 to August 20, rain or shine, to help provide access to healthy meals during the week, even when school is out!
These parks also provide free playground activities for kids and teens and may include arts and crafts, board games, organized recreational games, and, at select locations, hands-on STEM activities led by SPR Naturalists.

🚧 Reminder: A.B. Ernst Park Addition construction starts July 2026!
Seattle Parks and Recreation and Wyser Construction are breaking ground soon. Expect some site changes as the park transforms with a new path to Fremont Library, an embankment slide and hill climb, expanded entry plaza, and preserved historic staircase.

It's almost time to celebrate the 4th of July! Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities will operate on modified schedules on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. While some recreation facilities will be closed, many parks, outdoor pools, lifeguarded beaches, sprayparks, wading pools, and other amenities will remain open.

Queen Anne Community Center will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day. Our operating hours on Saturday, July 4th is 8am-5pm.
