Farrah is an institution in PNW water polo—and the tournament director behind Sasquatch. Yes, the human in this photo. You probably saw her everywhere this weekend.

In the break room. At spectator check-in. At 6am picking up coffee so refs and coaches aren’t grumpy. Sitting at tables. Hauling out the inflatable youth goals. All of it with a smile on her face.

We had 41 teams and 101 games. It was a massive lift.

We’ll spare you the six months of planning that goes into pulling this off. Let’s just say we aim for 95% perfection (because something always goes sideways).

Happy to report we hit a solid 96.2% this year. Completely made up, but it feels right.

Thank you, Farrah, for absolutely crushing it as tournament director—while also being a PE coach, Head ODP girls’ zone coach, running Newport Hills Water Polo Club, and head coach at Newport High School… and somehow still lifting everyone else up.
