July 27-31: get moving with Art in Motion and embrace the sparkle with Bejeweled: Taylor Swift, both for kiddos ages 5-7 years.
๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (9:30am - 12:30pm) blends kinesthetic and visual/spatial learning as young dancers move, imagine, and createโfusing the worlds of dance and visual art! Each day, dancers will discover a new artist and explore their unique style through movement, music, and creating their own artwork.
๐๐ฒ๐ท๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ: ๐ง๐ฎ๐๐น๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ (1:00 - 4:00pm) will make the whole place shimmer as campers dance through the iconic eras of Taylor Swift. Explore choreography inspired by her greatest hits while singing along, creating friendship bracelets, and adding sparkle to your pop star style. Each day blends dancing, music, and hands-on projects that celebrate what makes every dancer unique!

๐ด This mini session runs from July 6 (next Monday!) through Saturday, August 8. Introduce your little one to the BrainDance with Nurturing Baby, Caregiver/Toddler, Caregiver/Toddler/Child, Caregiver/Child, Creative Ballet, or Creative Dance classes. For adults, we have our always-popular Creative Modern for Adults (online), Keep Dancing! Modern for 40+, Boost with Bronwen, or our newest class, Gentle Ballet. And don't forget our Adaptive BrainDance classes for ages 13 and up โ always free!

๐ฉฐ Enter a spacious, stress-free environment to reconnect with your body, move with ease, and enjoy the simple pleasure of dancingโthis is a welcoming ballet class for anyone seeking to reconnect with their body, including (but not limited to!) pregnant and postpartum parents and caregivers. With grounding breath, accessible movement, options for babywearing and seated support, this is an affirming space where all levels can move at their own pace.
๐ Instructor Hosanna Tolmanโs work centers joy, curiosity, and connection! She grew up dancing with North Star Ballet in Fairbanks, Alaska, earned a Master of Science in Dance/Movement Therapy from Sarah Lawrence College, is certified in Dance for Parkinsonโs, and is a Baby-Led Sleep and Well-Being Specialist. Join Hosanna on Fridays, 10:00-11:00am, July 10 - August 7.

โญ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ (August 4-6) is our newest offering for ages 10-13 โ Dive deeper into your dance over three evenings of movement and discussion with teaching artists Bri Wilson, Otoquรญ Reyes, and Chloe Albin. From contemporary partnering and Puerto Rican Bomba traditions to theatre jazz and musical theatre, Dance Lab encourages curiosity, creativity, connection, and self-expression in a welcoming and supportive environment!
โญ ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ (August 10-14) is the place to be for dancers ages 14-19 โ Spend an extraordinary and enriching week with guest faculty members Kaitlin McCarthy, Chloe Albin, Tariq Mitri, Jemoni Powe, and DรฉShawn Morton. Each day features dance class, then a facilitated talk back and discussion on issues pertinent to teens, artists, creators, and dancers, followed by even more dancing and creation!

๐ Summer is almost here! Make the most of it with a week or more of camps at Creative Dance Center!
1๏ธโฃ Week One (June 29 - July 3)
๐ฉฐ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ is a morning-only (9:30am - 12:30pm) camp for ages 4-5. Each day, dancers will learn ballet steps and dance concepts from classic ballets like Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and more! Together, we will read the stories, embrace make-believe, and craft simple props to accompany our magical dances!
๐ ๐๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ: ๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ is a morning camp for ages 5-8. In this multi-arts camp, we'll explore different environments from the rainforest to the tundra, pairing dance concepts with features of our natural world like animals, landforms, and climates, through arts activities that enhance our connection to nature!
๐ ๐ข๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ is an afternoon (1:00 - 4:00pm) camp for ages 5-8. Here, stories come to life through the rich language and art of childrenโs literature! Books will jump off the page as we explore character and plot using elements of dance and art projects inspired by our reading, culmimating in an Original Dancing Story that takes shape throughout the week!
