Five hours in the car.
Long weekends at the ballpark.

Early mornings. Late nights. Packed coolers. Hotel rooms. Miles and miles and miles.

And a kid who gets home from it all and still doesn’t want to take off his uniform. 💙

That’s youth baseball.

It takes a village to give these kids the opportunity to chase something they love. Parents who get them there. Coaches who invest in them. Teammates who become friends. Families who spend a whole lot of their lives together on the other side of a fence.

At Rush, we know we’re not just building baseball players.

We’re building a community around them.

And when they love it enough to keep the uniform on for three more hours after a five-hour drive home?

Yeah. We’d say it’s worth it.

Okay, okay.

Yesterday we asked you to pick your favorite Rush uniform.

But we may have left one out.

Intentionally.

Because putting this one in the poll just wouldn’t have been fair. 😮‍💨

Case closed. 🔵⚪

Rush has options. 👀

But if you’re getting the start today, which uniform are you taking the field in?

⚫ BLACK OUT
⚪ WHITE PINSTRIPE
🏁 BLACK + WHITE

Drop your pick below. And yes, you only get ONE. ⬇️

Friendships forged in grit.

In the long practices.
The early mornings.
The road trips.
The wins, the losses, and all the innings in between.

You come to Rush to become a better ballplayer.

You leave with guys who know exactly what it took to get there.

That’s part of the journey, too.

We RUSH. ⚾️

Don’t sleep on the second slide to see how the story turned out.

A month ago, Kellen Gadin was still looking for the opportunity to play at the next level.

Today, he’s COMMITTED. 🔱

The reps. The practices. The extra work. The long weekends. The commitment to the grind when there’s no guarantee where it will lead.

Then, the opportunity.

Kellen is headed to Edmonds College to continue his baseball career with the Tritons.

Keep working. Keep competing. Keep becoming.

Congratulations, Kellen. Proud to have you represent Rush at the next level.

Tools of the trade.

A glove.
A bat.
A pair of cleats.

And somewhere nearby, a parent with a full tank of gas and absolutely no idea how many miles they’ve driven this summer. 😂

Because select baseball takes a lot of things.

But none more important than the people who keep showing up, loading the car, finding the field, packing the snacks, washing the uniforms and making it all possible.

Here’s to the unofficial MVPs of summer baseball.

The Rush parents. 💙⚾

Tryouts may be over. The FUNdamentals are just getting started. ⚾️

The Rush Junior Academy is where the next generation gets to learn the game, build confidence, make friends, and have a whole lot of fun doing it.

Designed for boys and girls ages 6–9, Junior Academy keeps the focus where it belongs: quality coaching, small groups, plenty of reps, and helping young players fall in love with baseball.

Because before the tournaments, the travel and the big moments, there’s this.

Learning to throw. Learning to catch. Learning to compete. Learning to be a teammate.

And having a blast along the way.

10 Sunday sessions beginning September 13.

Champions. And a couple MVPs for good measure. 🏆

Rush 15U Maltos finished the PNW College Prep Circuit on top, bringing home the 15U Open Championship.

And two Rush athletes walked away with some hardware of their own.

⚾ Tyler Reeves | Championship Game MVP
2 runs allowed. 8 strikeouts. And because apparently that wasn’t enough, he added a home run at the plate.

⚾ Nash Echelbarger | League MVP
Nash led all hitters in league play with 18 hits, 13 runs and 21 RBI, while also finishing top five in the league in pitching.

Big performances are worth celebrating.

But a championship takes a roster.

One team. A summer’s worth of work. And a finish they earned together.

Congrats, boys. Way to represent Rush. 👊

One spot.

A season full of opportunity.

Washington Rush U13 is looking for one player to join a team that loves to compete, works hard, and has a lot of fun doing it.

If your athlete is looking for an environment where development comes first and teammates become friends, we’d love to connect.

Some summer days stick with you forever.

Not because you won.

Not because you hit a home run.

Because you got to spend the day with your teammates, explore a college ballpark, and imagine what might be possible someday.

These are the moments that make kids fall in love with the game all over again.

We RUSH.
