We dodged the crowds today and found fish along with a few other old timers, and this kid 😁. Mostly unmarked fish we released. But a couple of nice keepers. This Herring Aide Coyote Spoon has caught hundreds of fish, if not thousands. Much of the paint is gone.

Great day fishing for resident coho salmon on Puget Sound yesterday!

Our four anglers enjoyed easy limits of silvers (coho), with several Chinook salmon released to fight another day. We even spent some time flounder fishing before returning to Seattle, where we filleted the day’s catch for four happy customers.

Catching early resident Coho, identifying Chinook that must be released until July 16 when we will have a couple three day weekend openers. (Th-Sa)

June Coho are smaller but there are also some nice King Salmon around that may tug on your line pretty hard before you need to release them.

June 1 it’s open to fish Salmon again! Spiny Dogfish and Chinook Salmon are in high abundance while early resident coho are few and far between on opening day, but we will have them cornered soon!
