The party continues in Magnolia on Saturday with our annual Summer Session! We're bringing back the dunk tank this year with all proceeds benefitting the construction of the Magnolia Skatepark. Besides the dunk tank, we'll have all sorts of fun things going on between 2 and 8pm. Here's the rundown:
- Dunk Tank Fundraiser - 2pm to 8pm
- Skate Like a Girl Info Table - 2pm to 5pm
- East African Street Food from Rumba Notes - 2pm to 5pm
- Food from Midnite Ramen - 5pm to 8pm
- Live Music from Iris Finch and the Hopeful Notes - 5pm to 7pm

It's almost time !! Summer Session at Figurehead Brewery Magnolia Taproom. 8/15 2-8pm. Food, Music, Skateboard Lessons 2-5pm, Dunk Tank raising money for the Magnolia Skatepark :) .....It's going to be a lot of fun, so don't miss it!

Also, if you're interested in learning how to skateboard, come down and visit with from 2 to 5.
Get East African cuisine from Rumba Notes, 2 to 5pm, and then enjoy Midnite Ramen from 5 to 8pm!

The survey is asking for general feedback on the playground renovation and specific feedback on how to disposition the sandbox. The question is whether there is a desire to relocate it, or decommission it since it is in close proximity to the skatepark location.

We're at the Magnolia Summerfest this weekend, Fri-Sun. Swing by and say hi if you're in the area. It's a fun event for the whole family.

Thanks to all who were able to attend our Community Engagement event last night at the Magnolia Community Center. Great turnout and lost of questions, comments and support from the neighborhood. The project continues to gain momentum as we begin our Design phase.
