If your team only hears from you when there's a promo, you're not leading, you're broadcasting. Those are different jobs.

The best team leaders I've met in 20 years share one trait. They train people to outgrow needing them. That's leadership, not the training itself.
Real talk, I've been in this industry since before we had a phone in our pocket that counted calories, that's for sure. The tools changed. Getting someone's attention, earning their trust, then giving them a real reason to join, that part never did.
Fly fishing this morning, thinking about how the best hook sets happen when you're patient, not aggressive. Works the same way in this business.
