This morning's weather can't be beat for paddling. Where are the boaters? Bonus for us - We had the lake mostly to ourselves; i.e., calm waters and leisurely paced.

Enjoyed nature on the Sammamish River floating alongside trails and parks maintained along the river by City of Kenmore - Government and Bothell Parks & Recreation. Small crew made the 90-minute practice rewarding. 💪🏻

Practice on Saturday, July 11, will be closed to guests. We are sending our mixed and women’s teams to race at the Olympia Dragon Boat Festival ( https://olympiadragonboat.org/festival/ ). Take a road trip to Olympia and cheer for the teams.

Had a great start in the morning with big (20-person) and small (10-person) boats. Then, the rain clouds rolled in. The rest is history.

* South Lake Union guest dates: Wednesdays and Saturdays
* Kenmore guest dates: Sundays
* Space is limited at each practice. First come, first served.
* Must email your request at least 24 hours prior
* Absolutely no walk-ups allowed
