We run Chess Classes, Camps, Tournaments for students K-8 with integrated curriculum of Openings, Tactics, Strategy, tournament skills to provide best possible training for students of all ages K-12. Chess Academy has a special curriculum Chess101 for youngest kids. Parents often ask "How early kids start learning chess?". At the Chess Academy we evaluate students if they ready to start at 5.5 yeas old.

The last summer chess camp days!
Great time, many good competitive games, just for fun plays, simuls, puzzles, blitz and chess stories. Many summer friendships last a lifetime!

Get ready for an unforgettable summer of strategy, learning, and fun! Our summer chess camps begin the week of June 22 at our Seattle and Redmond locations.
Our full-day camp runs from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with convenient aftercare available until 4:00 p.m. to make scheduling easier for busy families. Half-day options are available.
Campers are placed in two groups by age and skill level so every student can feel challenged, supported, and excited to grow. Each day features engaging instruction in opening principles, middlegame strategy, and student game review.
Families receive a 10% sibling discount, and the best pricing is available when you register at least 30 days before camp.

The State Elementary was held in Tacoma this past Saturday, 04/26. More than 1500 kids participated in the event!

Cascadia Elementary team – 10th place in the Championship section!
Rafael Frenk – 4 out of 5 (6th place tie), George Yeh, 3.5 out of 5, Amy Zhang, 3 out of 5 and Bryce 3 out 5.
Soren Smith – 4 out of 5, 4th place tie, Premier Section. Cameron Yorks, 3.5 our of 5.
McAuliffe Elementary team – 2nd place in the Premier Section, - Eric Zhang and Peter Goncharenko scored 5 out 5 points, 1st place tie!
Congrats to Peng-Ruei Pan, 4 out of 5, tie for 2nd place, Championship Section (6th grade), Samantha Smith Elementary - Eugene Chou – 4 out of 5, 4th place in the 5th grade, (Championship Section.) Jinhan Zou, 3.5 out of 5, 9th place tie.
Arjun Raman, 3.5 out of 5 – 14th place tie, Champion Section.
