nto confident, disciplined, and well-rounded individuals, our program uses the transformative power of dance to cultivate strong artists, dedicated leaders, and exceptional human beings. For many dancers, it feels less like we chose dance and more like dance chose us—and we simply answered the call with passion and dedication. Dineen Arts, #JosephsGEMS are trained with a commitment to precision, while being encouraged to develop their unique artistry and freedom of expression. This is the culture we are building at JDA: a community rooted in purpose, driven by excellence, and united by a shared love of dance. JDA offers four distinct training tracks, each designed to support dancers at different stages of their artistic journey. Placement into a training track is determined through the annual audition process prior to the start of each season. While each track provides opportunities for competition and convention participation, J. Dineen Arts firmly believes that competitive dance is just one pathway to growth. Participation in competitions is not required to develop into a skilled, versatile, and accomplished dance artist/athlete. Our four training tracks include:

Elite Soloist track - #JosephsGEMS
Team Member track - #GEMStheTEAM
Elevated Training track - Joseph's Gems trainee
R.A.D. program track - HS Dance Team training

Each track is unique & consists of required regular *weekend core classes, regular private instruction & a **drop-in class requirement per month; among other JDA program events, comp/cons & workshops. This ensures that all JDA students are training with a consistent technical & artistic foundation led by Joseph with positivity & professionalism, while actively pursuing exposure to all kinds of dance offered in the greater Seattle area & beyond.

*Team Member & Elevated Training tracks also have required core class & rehearsals on Wednesdays during the season.

J. Dineen Art's ‘Train like a GEM’ sessions for July begins Thursday! The technique training continues as JDA summer training keeps on keepin' on!

Standing leg stack thoughts, equal press into all-four-corners of the foot, hip flexor crease for leg height is just the beginning training for strengthening turns. We gotta put in the work consistently to get those beautiful, quality results in technique & facility.

Kick off your summer training with an exciting, high-energy workshop designed specifically for dance team athletes! Join Mr. Joseph and Seahawks Dancer Dominique Merrell for two action-packed Saturdays—July 11 & 18—focused on elevating your technique, sharpening skills, and building confidence.

Throughout the workshop, dancers will refine technical fundamentals through targeted drills, learn valuable tips and training strategies, and master dynamic dance team choreography in a supportive, motivating environment.
