What an incredible first week of swim lessons. ❤️

The world can feel heavy and complicated at times, and this year has certainly felt that way for me. As an immigrant, an Iranian woman, and a public school educator, there are days when the weight of the world feels especially close.

But when I’m in the pool, my focus shifts completely to the people in front of me. Whether it’s a toddler learning to trust the water, a swimmer building confidence, an adult trying something new, or an athlete refining a skill, each lesson is a reminder that growth happens one small step at a time.

I’m deeply grateful to every family and swimmer who has trusted me with such an important life skill. Teaching swimming is about so much more than strokes and technique. It’s about building confidence, celebrating progress, and discovering that we can do hard things.

My hope is that our time in the pool offers a little refuge from the noise of the world, a place where challenges feel manageable, progress feels possible, and a few smiles can brighten even the cloudiest day. Thank you for spending part of your summer with me and I can’t wait to see you all again next week!!

Swim with Me classes are so fun! Babies toddlers and their adults can come together to get comfortable with the water play games, sing songs and practice some of those basic introductory core skills. The goal of these lessons is to provide a comfortable space for young swimmers before they start formal swim lessons (typically around the age of three).

Beginners ages 3-6: semi Private/small group ($60-80/session)
Mondays and/or Wednesdays 12-12:30

Summer swim lessons will start in July in a beautiful private outdoor pool in the Beacon Hill neighborhood in Seattle, WA! Pre-registration closes at the end of the this month. If you’re interested in signing up for yourself or others, be sure to go to my website and complete the pre-registration form. So far I have swimmers of all ages from babies to adults signed up and I can’t wait to get started!!! 🩵
