A little update on my time in Facebook jail.

Exactly 2 weeks ago today, FIFA struck 15 videos that I had shared about some of the goals in the World Cup that I found beautiful and impressive.

That many strikes at once triggered an automatic ban from posting and interacting with an posts, and the minimum length for that restriction to last is 30 days. Basically, you can't do anything with your account. Welcome to Facebook jail!

I was given two options: appeal all 15 strikes, or email FIFA. Given that I barely made any edits to the 15 reels, I recognized that if the videos were struck it was because they clearly violated FIFA's rights. So, I was left with only one option, as I was not going to file fraudulent appeals; I was in the wrong.

I emailed FIFA and acknowledged the situation. I took responsibility, and I apologized for violating their rights. I gave them reassurance that it would never happen again and asked if they could release their hold on the strike so I could use the account again.

It was a very long shot, as that email was to FIFA's lawyers. Big dogs vs nobody-me.

Within 10 days I was able to use all features available to Beasts Train Mean, and monetization was also fully restored.

FIFA was my get-out-of-jail card! 🤯

I still can't believe I was able to touch big people's hearts.

Anyways, that's how I got back. Lol

Y'hello, Beasties! In case you were wondering where I had been, well, I finally got myself in Facebook jail!!!! 😅

FIFA didn't like my enthusiasm for the World Cup. So, they struck all the reels I had shared about some of the goals I found beautiful, at once. That triggered restrictions on the main account that I use to post on here. So, all I could do was to watch/see posts. I couldn't react to anything, post anything, or respond to comments.

I did send an email to FIFA to appeal to the kind side of their hearts, if any, so they'd remove their hold for me to get out of jail. I'm not sure if they're the ones who freed me, or Meta themselves. 😅

But hey, I'm back and well, the World Cup is still going. Don't worry, I've learned my lesson the hard way. 😅
