Rain City Ropeworks

Rain City Senior Spotlight 1/3:

Calla started jumping with Rain City the year it was founded, when she was just 8 years old. Now, she has been jumping rope for 12 years! Her favorite aspect of being on Rain City is helping to coach the little kids and watching them grow and develop their personal style.

Her favorite memory on the team is the roadtrip back from the Proform invitational, where she and her double Dutch pairs were attempting to qualify for the 2023 world championships. Spending time with Halle, Riley, and Madeline was an amazing experience she’ll always remember.

Outside of being on the team, Calla loves to read. She’s also involved in her school’s concert band and plays the clarinet. She also enjoys cooking and baking as a way to decompress after a long day.

Calla will be attending Purdue University in the fall, studying Kinesiology.
