Think we hit the 30 day mark to . Time to wrench on a few things.
Ebrake blew the spring out and was getting by on borrowed time. When I got this truck 16 years ago it looked like a dog had chewed it up.
It was time to replace it and also the boot. Black to match the interior vibes.

Cleaned up the terminals and connections on the Hooptie 80 project.
New Fusible link was in order.. Holy Hell.
Pick one or two up for your glove box before the bean counters at Toyota mark it NLA.

Back on the road. Speedometer works, fresh gear oil in the drivetrain and a break in the rain. Happy. 😎 Hope everyone is having a great weekend. #1965
Excited to be able to offer an oil filter for F, 2F, 3FE, 1FZ and 2UZ and… Made in Japan!
We brought a few of these over to see how they do. For those of you that want a little JDM 🫶 for your truck.

Happy Father’s Day! It’s a massive responsibility, but that pales in comparison to the honor to be one. We hope all the dads out there are having a great day. 🍻

True gangster lean. In this photo a technician at ARACO is doing a capability audit on this fresh 80 series model. I think we all know at this point that ARACO made a true masterpiece with the 80 series Land Cruiser. A perfect blend of refinement and capability. The 80 series apparently has a max static lean angle of 45degrees, but about 30 degrees is the more realistic max angle you likely want to go out in the real world. 😅 Things start puckering at an exponential rate from there on up. Hahaha. We hope everyone is having a great week! Hang in there, weekend is on the way. *All our photos are 100% genuine. 😘

Up today is a truly fantastic piece of historical Toyota North American literature. This trade publication features an amazing list of Toyota equipment suppliers and historical photographs. The year was 1963 and Toyota was fighting HARD to build the US market. At this point in time, Land Cruiser sales were carrying the Toyota brand in the US. Their passenger cars were not selling and it wouldn’t be until 1965 that the Corona would be introduced and sales would climb. So in this period Toyota was doing everything they could to bolster their image and appeal in this huge fledgling market. I have never seen so much cool detail on their suppliers in one publication. We encourage you all to head over to the website where you can view this large magazine. Head to literature- brochures and then 1960s. We never stop hunting the world over for literature to share with you all. No paywall, no ads. It’s what the community deserves. Enjoy! 🫡
