⚽️ Game Day Reminders for AYSO 159 Families ⚽️

Our home games are played at Oak Middle School, 10821 Oak St., Los Alamitos.

Before heading to the field, please remember:

• Arrive early and allow extra time for parking.
• Bring cleats, shin guards, a complete uniform and plenty of water.
• Please leave pets and player jewelry at home.
• After your game, please gather your belongings and depart promptly so parking is available for the next teams.
• Cheer positively and respectfully—please do not argue with coaches, players, volunteers or referees.

Whether playing at Oak or traveling to another field, our families represent AYSO Region 159. Let’s lead by example and help keep every game safe, fun and positive for everyone! ❤️⚽️🖤

Want to become a certified Regional Referee? Want to help your team earn referee points? Want to learn how to confidently officiate U10 and older games?

Then this is your opportunity!

? REGIONAL REFEREE COMPANION COURSE

In-Person Portion of the Class — This Saturday, August 15

If you have already completed the online portion of the Regional Referee Course, this in-person Companion Course is the next step toward becoming a certified Regional Referee.

Once certified, you can referee U10 and older matches, serve as a Center Referee or Assistant Referee, and help your team earn the referee points it needs to qualify for playoffs.

First, THANK YOU! ❤️ Our AYSO 159 volunteers are the heart of our region, and we truly appreciate you stepping up to help make this season an amazing experience for our players.

If you’ve volunteered to be a Team Parent, this meeting is designed just for you! Join us to learn everything you need for the season, meet fellow volunteers, ask questions, and get ready to support your team with confidence.

👥 Volunteer Fingerprinting Available

If you’ve signed up for any volunteer role (coach, assistant coach, team parent, referee), fingerprinting will be available 6:00–9:00 PM. If you still need to complete your Live Scan requirement, this is a great opportunity to get it done!

Join us for the AYSO Region 159 Field Cleanup Day as we come together to get Arbor Park ready for another amazing soccer season! Tired of the holes? Help us take one form of action by filling them this Saturday 🪏

Bring your gloves and shovels and lend a hand—many hands make light work! Whether you’re a player, parent, coach, referee, or volunteer, we’d love to see you there.

🌮 Tacos will be provided for volunteers from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM as a thank you for your hard work!
🚗 Parking is limited, so consider carpooling if you can.
