Today, we remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and all those who made sacrifices in the days and years that followed.

We remember the first responders, military members, families, and communities who showed incredible courage, strength, and resilience.

As a club, we believe in community, respect, teamwork, and character — values that extend far beyond the soccer field.

Today, we pause to remember, reflect, and honor. We will never forget.

⚽️ LOU RAMOS CLASSIC WEEKEND RECAP! ⚽️

What a weekend of battle, grit, and growth on the pitch at the Lou Ramos International Classic! 🔴⚫️⚪️

🏆 AFC Milan (U12) — TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS!

Record: 2–1 | 12 Goals Scored

After a tough opening match, Milan showed unbelievable resilience, character, and togetherness by responding with back-to-back victories to finish on top! While the trophy is a fantastic reward, the team's growth, mentality, and fight for one another are what we are most proud of.

🔥 AFC Ajax (U14) — 3-WAY TIE FOR 1ST (3rd Place Finish)

Record: 2–1

Competing in a high-level group, Ajax fought their way into a three-way tie at the top of the standings! Though goal differential ultimately placed them 3rd, the placement doesn't tell the whole story. The boys solved problems under pressure, battled quality opposition, and gained invaluable experience to kick off the season.

💪 Cityzens (U10) — RESILIENCE & PROGRESS

Record: 0–3

The record doesn't define how this group played! The boys went toe-to-toe with relentless competition, refused to back down, and got noticeably better with every single match. Fighting until the final whistle, this weekend served as a massive learning experience that will pay off as they keep building.

Huge congratulations to all of our players and coaches, and a massive thank you to all of our AFC families for the incredible energy and support on the sidelines all weekend long!

A lot of good things to reflect on and plenty of opportunities to work on from the weekend for the Red Devils!

The players showed a real desire to go forward and attack, and they weren't afraid to look for goal — a great starting point for this group.

They're learning, they're growing, and there's plenty to be excited about.

It's going to be a rewarding season as the Red Devils enjoy the journey!

A great weekend in Gettysburg for Liverpool, finishing 2nd in their division!

The players competed hard, created opportunities going forward, and showed some really good soccer throughout the weekend. Just as importantly, each game provided opportunities to learn, grow, and develop together as a team.

⚽️ WEEKEND RECAP - Gettysburg Battlefield Blast: Juventus U10 Girls! ⚽️

Our Anthracite FC Juventus U10 Girls brought relentless grit, heart, and determination to the pitch all weekend long, earning a well-deserved 3rd place finish! 🔴⚫️⚪️

Saturday Battles: Despite two unfortunate results on opening day, the girls never backed down. Their nonstop work ethic and competitive spirit made a lasting impression on everyone on the pitch.

Sunday Statement: Refusing to let Saturday hold them back, the squad bounced back in style, closing out the tournament with a dominant 12–1 victory!

Holding their heads high, this strong finish marks a fantastic first step forward as the girls prepare for their first league game in two weeks! Keep building, girls! 🚀

This team fell in love with competing over the weekend! Their resilience, attention to detail during team talks, and quick adjustments to every challenge made all the difference. Stepping up for one another—including players volunteering to step into goal—their dedication and pure teamwork accomplished something truly special on the pitch!

⚽️ WEEKEND RECAP: U12 Girls Wolfsburg

The girls took the field together for the very first time, showing incredible heart, resilience, and progress over the weekend! 🔴⚫️⚪️

They faced tough opponents in their debut matches on Saturday, but shook off early nerves and fought hard through two competitive games.

Sunday, the squad bounced back! They settled in, played cohesive team soccer, and earned a dominant 4–1 win! 🏆

Seeing the team connect, communicate, and elevate their play over just 48 hours was inspiring. The foundation is built, and the sky is truly the limit for what this group can accomplish this season! 🚀
