🏈 **FREE CO-ED FLAG FOOTBALL CLINIC!** 🏈

Join us on **Sunday, August 23, from 9:00–10:00 a.m.** at the **Valley of the Sun J in North Scottsdale** for a fun and energetic flag football clinic!

This free clinic is open to boys and girls in **1st–8th grade**. Participants will work on football fundamentals, movement skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a positive and welcoming environment.

Come have some fun, meet our coaches, explore our program, and experience what our community is all about!

Parents, if this is your child’s first year playing tackle football, it’s important to make sure they get proper tackle training before the season starts.

Don’t rely solely on the team coach to teach tackling fundamentals. With large rosters and limited practice time, coaches can’t always give every player the individual attention they need.

As parents, it’s our responsibility to make sure our kids have the knowledge, technique, and confidence to play the game safely. Proper training helps reduce injury risk, builds good habits, and prepares them to succeed on the field.

Invest in their development. Invest in their safety. 🏈

One of the coolest parts of my job is getting to be both Dad and Coach. ❤️💪🏽

Clayton sees this side of me at home, but seeing it at school with all the kids calling me “Coach” was something different.

Grateful for these moments. C3 tomorrow! 😃🙌🏽

As I sit here typing this with tears in my eyes, my heart is absolutely broken. I’m not usually someone who shares my feelings like this, but this one is going to hurt for a long time.

My grandmother was one of the most loving, kind, gentle, and caring people I’ve ever known. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved. She carried herself with grace, treated everyone with respect, and in all my years, I honestly never remember seeing her angry or upset. She had a beautiful spirit and a love that could be felt by everyone around her, especially throughout the church community.
And let’s be honest, she could dress better than just about anybody.

While my heart hurts, I find peace knowing she is with the Lord. Heaven gained a truly special angel. I know she’s up there continuing to serve, love, and help others just like she always did here on earth.

I love you, Grandma, and I will miss you more than words can ever express.
