ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT 🚨 Gracie Ortega is staying close to home as she continues her hockey career with Grand Canyon University's Women's Hockey Team.

During her AHSHA career, Gracie earned All-Star honors and was on the first ever Girls Team Arizona.

Her advice to current players: "The sport is a game—do your work, and the fun will come."

Congratulations, Gracie! Best of luck at GCU! 👏

🎉 Congratulations to Gracie Ortega of 19U AA Red on her commitment to join the inaugural ACHA D2 team at Grand Canyon University! 🎉 She plans to study Mechanical Engineering at GCU.

Ortega was recently honored at our End of Year Celebration with a Legacy Award, which goes to players who started in Small Frys or Little Leightons and stayed with the program all the way through graduating high school. She is one of only 3 Kachinas who received this award this season.

We wish Gracie all the best at GCU, and know that she will be a great ambassador in building their new D2 team!
