KANSAS CITY, Mo. โ Flags were lowered to half-staff in a northwest Missouri town for a 31-year-old soldier killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq.
Staff Sgt. Kevin L. Zeigler, originally from Braymer, died Saturday in Baghdad as he and another soldier tried to disable the explosive device, the Defense Department said.

Both men were assigned to the Armyโs 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.
Zeigler is survived by his wife, Stacy, and four children.
The couple had met in Overland Park, Kan., when Zeigler lived there briefly after leaving the Army following his first enlistment, Mallory said.

๐บ๐ธ JIU-JITSU WORKSHOP AT FORT HUACHUCA! ๐ฅ
I am truly honored to have the opportunity to return to the military community and share something that has been a huge part of my life for the past 20 years โ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
I began training Jiu-Jitsu in 2006 and earned my black belt in 2016 under Vitor โShaolinโ Ribeiro. Before opening One Ten Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Scottsdale, I served as a Cavalry Scout in the U.S. Army and deployed to Iraq twice.
The Army helped shape who I am, and Jiu-Jitsu has continued that journey. Both teach discipline, resilience, humility, and the importance of never quitting.
Whether youโve trained for years or have never stepped on the mats before, everyone who wants to learn is welcome!
