If you don't assess, it's just a guess.
Think about it.
Would you trust a mechanic to fix your car without ever looking under the hood?
Probably not.
So why is it considered normal to treat pain without first figuring out what's actually causing it?
Too often, people are given the same exercises, the same stretches, or the same adjustments without anyone taking the time to understand how your body is moving.
Pain is a symptom, not a diagnosis.
Two people can have the exact same shoulder pain for completely different reasons. If the problem isn't identified, the treatment becomes nothing more than a guess.
That's why every plan we create starts with a thorough assessment.
We want to understand how you move, where your limitations are, and what's truly driving your shoulder pain so we can build a plan that's designed specifically for you.
Because when you assess first, you stop chasing symptoms and start solving the real problem.
If you have shoulder pain that you've already tried treating but it just doesn't seem to go away, DM us "GOLF" to get started.
"I've lost 15 to 20 yards... I guess I'm just getting older."
We hear this from golfers all the time.
They'll tell us they used to hit a 7-iron into the green.
Now it's a 5-iron.
Their buddies are suddenly hitting it past them.
So they assume they need more lessons.
A new driver.
More time at the range.
But here's what we usually find...
It isn't a swing problem.
It's a body problem.
When your hips stop rotating, your backswing gets shorter.
When your mid back gets stiff, you can't create the separation that generates power.
Your body starts protecting itself instead of producing speed.
So you swing harder.
You practice more.
You chase swing changes.
But your body is still putting the brakes on your swing.
Then after we help them restore the movement their swing actually needs, something interesting happens.
The swing starts to feel effortless again.
The clubhead moves faster without trying to swing out of your shoes.
And those lost yards start coming back.
If you've noticed you're reaching for more club than you used to, don't assume it's just your age.
Distance doesn't disappear overnight.
It usually disappears long before golfers realize their body has stopped giving their swing what it needs.
