Been quietly getting myself comfortable again back in the seat. Feels like my rookie year all over again but we had a decent run last night at Pagoda in the Haney Services LLC SpeedSTR

Time trialed 5th overall
Heat race 2nd-5th
Feature 5th to 8th

We were faster than what we showed, I just need to work on driving in traffic again.

Effective immediately Jack Butler Racing relieved of his driving duties.

After 10 weeks away to heal the back, It’s finally time for me to step up and take the seat back of the Haney Services LLC SpeedSTR.

Doesn’t even need to be said but gotta this guy stepped up to the plate and delivered some awesome results for us, including our first ever podium. He gave us some great data to move forward with and had a great time racing together as a team ✊🏻

So with that being said, if anyone has an open seat, put this guy in it and you won’t be disappointed!

“Just go out there and get what you can, the car is not right but do what you can”

What a night it was at Action Track USA with Jack Butler Racing behind the wheel of the Haney Services LLC SpeedSTR.

We were greeted with a super heavy track and the car was not happy in time trials, that one’s on me for not making adjustments needed.

Started 7th in the heat with some changes to the car and was moving forward to a transfer position when we got stuck together with another car and folded the front end up. Ended up with a DNF in the heat.

Our time was good enough to lock us directly into the feature but we’re starting deep. And the car was tore up.

Gotta thank Chris and Josh for their help swapping the front end out. Those guys are always there when we need it. Front panhard bracket was ripped off the frame but still had the top bolts attached. So we used whatever we could and got the car close enough for the feature.

Jack then took his time picking through the field and before we knew it we were sitting 10th, then 5th. Then a late race restart had us grouped back up with everyone and he was able to get 2 more cars and finish 3rd on the night. First ever podium for us and this car. Super cool to see things working even when they aren’t 🤘🏼

-“Probably when I was 3 wide going around Billy (Pauch) in heat race”

-Time trialed quickest in our group and 6th overall

-Then went 4th to 2nd in our heat race but wasn’t eligible for handicapping yet so had to start 14th for the feature.

-Jack Butler Racing drove an insane race in the Haney Services LLC SpeedSTR going from 14th to 5th!

Super happy with the progress we have made on this Honda, See everyone back at The Speedway At Pagoda MC on Sunday 🤘🏼

Jack Butler Racing DRIVES FROM 14th to 6th IN HIS FIRST TIME IN A SPEEDSTR AT The Speedway At Pagoda MC🫡

We had expectations to just shake the car down and see if we the engine issue was resolved. But that quickly changed when I saw a top 10 in time trials for the Haney Services LLC #7

Made some changes to get Jack more comfortable for the heat race where we were starting 6th. (We weren’t eligible for handicapping)

Finished the heat race in 6th so we’re locked into the feature and got valuable seat time.

Started 14th in the feature and marched his was up to 6th and racing for 5th on the final laps where we settled for a 6th place finish in the feature as well.

Time Trials:10th out of 20
Heat Race:6th-6th
Feature:14th-6th

I’m so pumped to see this car go the front after so much effort. Appreciate everyone reaching out!

We will have the car back out kutztown on Wednesday🤘🏼

Raceday at Action Track USA!

Unfortunately we will be watching from the sidelines tonight. Our doctor’s appointment on Friday gave us the news of 8 weeks off at a minimum.

Good luck to everyone tonight and we’ll see them there. Save our spot in the pits, we aren’t done yet 🤘🏼

Brought the all new Haney Services LLC SpeedSTR home in 8th place after starting 12th.

Had more speed than we could show as the motor was giving us some growing pains. We will get it figured out and be back in action for our debut at Middleford Speedway in 2 weeks!
