Elisa scored seven kills on Friday night with 18 digs, then led the Lakers with 13 kills and 23 digs on Saturday against Wayne State. She’s led LSSU in kills seven times this season, led in digs eight times and led in both five times!

Morgan Deming | Lake Superior State Volleyball
Morgan scored seven kills with two key blocks against Saginaw Valley state in Friday night’s match, then added five more blocks on Saturday against Wayne State. She controlled the net and showed her high level of skill throughout the weekend!

A raucous crowd at the Bud Cooper Gymnasium lifted Lake Superior State on Friday night, but the Lakers dropped the GLIAC match in four sets to Saginaw Valley State.

Noel Black | Lake State Cross Country & Track
Black opened her season with a runner-up finish in the 5K at the Northwood Invitational, leading the Lakers across the finish line. Her time of 18:50.6 is a new program best for a 5k mark on any cross country course in LSSU history.

Laurel Roberts-Burrell | Lake State Swim & Dive
Roberts-Burrell delivered a record-setting performance at the Findlay Fall Invitational, winning the 200-yard backstroke and establishing new Lake State records in both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke.
