Throwback Thursday! 🌴☀️ Taking it back to 2021 with a look at our clubhouse! A few things may have changed over the years, but the beautiful Palm Aire views and Florida sunshine never go out of style. 💚

We completed quite a bit of work over the past 30 days on the Lakes Golf Course. We did some tree/stump work, improved drainage, aerified the putting surfaces, tee tops, and fairways, and prepared perimeter areas in anticipation of a hydroseed project scheduled for the second week of September. We have identified over 300,000 square feet of area that is outside our irrigation system "reach" that would benefit from the application of a Bahiagrass hydroseed.

An Incredible Albatross on Champions Course Hole #14

Congratulations to Joe Eadie, who recently accomplished one of the rarest feats in golf!

Joe recorded an albatross (double eagle) on Hole #14 of the Champions Course, using his 7-wood for his second shot from 159 yards out. An albatross is a score of three strokes under par on a single hole, meaning Joe completed the par 5 in just two strokes!

An albatross is an incredibly rare achievement-even rarer than a hole-in-one-making this an extraordinary accomplishment and a shot that will certainly be remembered.

The incredible shot was witnessed by fellow members Larry Marziale and Steve Yanics.

This past week, in what has become an annual tradition, more than a few Members traveled to Maine to play in a Golf/Lobstah event at Purpoodock Club, just south of Portland. While golf may have been the reason for the event, the ladies took time to play pickleball and visit the Botanical Gardens.
