We are incredibly grateful to School of Fish for making such a special experience possible for our campers at Robert L. Taylor Community Complex Summer Camp! 🏊♂️🌊
Thanks to their continued generosity and dedication, our entire summer camp had the opportunity to participate in free swim lessons!
Teaching children how to swim is about so much more than learning a new skill—it’s about building confidence, independence, and water safety that can last a lifetime. It was amazing to watch our campers grow more comfortable in the water, learn new techniques, and make so much progress throughout their lessons. Seeing their confidence grow from the first day to the last was truly something special!
We are so thankful to School of Fish for investing in our campers and giving them an opportunity they may not otherwise have had. Your commitment to our community and to helping children become safer, stronger, and more confident in the water means so much to us!
From all of us at Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, THANK YOU, School of Fish! 🐟💙

Last Friday, we had an incredible time welcoming Popdarts Professional Luke Stutzman to the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex for a special Popdarts demonstration!
Facility members, our summer campers, and staff all had the chance to learn the game, test their skills, and see what makes Popdarts so much fun. It was awesome watching everyone jump in and give it a try!
Of course, our own RLTCC Recreation Supervisor Mark Horvath and Recreation Leader Tyler Short couldn’t resist challenging the pro. Both kept it competitive and made Luke earn the win, but in the end, the professional showed why he’s one of the best!
A huge thank you to Luke for spending the afternoon with us and introducing our community to this exciting game.
The fun is just getting started… RLTCC will be launching its very own Popdarts programming in Fall 2026! Stay tuned for more information—we can’t wait to bring this exciting new activity to our community!

A huge THANK YOU to Coach Aaron from Reset Fitness for stopping by our Summer Camp during Career Week! 💪☀️
Coach Aaron got our campers up, moving, stretching, and having fun while teaching them the importance of staying active and living a healthy lifestyle. It was a great reminder that fitness isn’t just about exercise—it’s about building healthy habits that last a lifetime!
We truly appreciate you taking the time to invest in our campers and inspire them to take care of their bodies while showing them how a passion for fitness can become a rewarding career.
Thank you again, Coach Aaron, for an energetic and inspiring visit! We hope to see you again soon!

Another big THANK YOU goes out to AquaShine Express Car Wash and Kasey Lumpp for making a splash during our Career Week at summer camp! 🚗🫧
Kasey gave our campers a fun behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to keep a car wash running, while also encouraging them to dream big, work hard, and chase their future career goals. She even brought a homemade model of the car wash to show how everything works, and our campers thought it was so cool!
To make the visit even more exciting, Group 5 got to take our camp van through the car wash for a firsthand experience! There were plenty of smiles, lots of excitement, and maybe a few campers wishing they could go through again!
Thank you, Kasey and everyone at AquaShine Express Car Wash, for taking the time to invest in our campers and helping make Career Week such a fun and memorable experience.

A huge thank you to the University of South Florida (USF) for visiting our Summer Camp last week for Career Week!
Victoria Ramirez-Welsch and Dahlia Singer did an outstanding job presenting to our campers about USF and future career pathways. After the presentation, they led a fun hands on activity where campers created giant posters showcasing their dream careers and goals — and the kids absolutely loved it!
