A ballroom competition is so much more than what you see on the dance floor. Behind every performance are hours of practice, nerves, self-doubt, sore muscles, unexpected challenges, and moments when giving up can feel easier than pushing forward.

And that’s exactly why I am so incredibly proud of my students. ❤️

It takes courage to step onto that floor.
Courage to be vulnerable.
Courage to compete, knowing it won’t be perfect.
Courage to keep going when things don’t go as planned.

This dancers faced those challenges head-on — and not only overcame them, but stepped onto the floor with confidence, determination, and beautiful energy. They performed so incredibly well, inspired the people around them, and most importantly… they enjoyed every moment. ✨

Because at the end of the day, the greatest victory isn’t always a trophy. It’s becoming stronger, believing in yourself, sharing your passion, and having the courage to put yourself out there.

I am beyond proud of every single one of you. Your dedication inspires me, your courage inspires others, and watching you shine on the dance floor is what makes all the hard work worth it. 🥹❤️

It was such a privilege to be participating at the 124th River City Mini - Match. We had a blast, seeing all our friends in Jacksonville and sharing the dance floor with them.
We are so grateful for the following awards: Scott received “Top Silver Male”; “Top Solo Award”; 1st and 2nd place in Smooth Championship Events and two 1st places in Rhythm Championship Events.
And I am beyond grateful to the organizers Brent Hyskell and لميا and Scott Brookes for my “Top Teacher Award”!
