🌊 Meet the Teacher Behind Sea Turtle Swim School! 🐢

Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about the person behind Sea Turtle Swim School. 💙

My name is Amy, and I’m a former Lifeguard for Walt Disney World. I’ve been teaching swim lessons for over 5 years, and I’ve had the incredible opportunity to own and operate Sea Turtle Swim School since 2022.

One of my favorite parts of teaching is getting to know each child and figuring out what works best for them. Every child is different, and not every child learns the same way. I do my best to adapt my teaching style to each swimmer’s individual personality, comfort level, and needs.

My mission has always been to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where children can learn important water safety and swimming skills while also developing a genuine love and confidence in the water. 🐢🌊

I’m incredibly grateful that I get to turn something I’m so passionate about into a career. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful families and watching little swimmers grow in confidence and ability.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Sea Turtle Swim School and trusted me with your little ones. It truly means more to me than I can put into words. 💙

I’m so excited to continue serving the wonderful families of Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota and hopefully meet many more of you along the way!

FloridaKids SwimSafe SummerFun

First lesson with Livia today! 💦 She is already so confident in the water, and I can tell she’s going to do amazing. I have no doubt she’ll be swimming all around the pool in no time! 🐢🌊

My man Logan absolutely aura farming today. While working on diving and floating skills he color coded all of my toys. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜💖

Days like today remind me why I love teaching swim lessons. 💙 Seeing smiles, building confidence, and helping little swimmers feel safe in the water never gets old.

🐢 Vacationing Families — I’d Love Your Feedback! ☀️🌴

As Sea Turtle Swim School continues to grow, I’ve been exploring the idea of offering special vacation packages for families visiting Orlando and other Florida vacation destinations.

One idea I’m considering is combining:
🏊‍♀️ Private swim lessons at your Airbnb/hotel pool
+
🎢 Optional childcare or “park helper” support during your vacation

The goal would be to help parents feel more relaxed during their trip while also keeping little ones safe and confident around the water.

As parents, is this something you would use while on vacation? What kinds of services would make traveling with kids easier for your family?
