"Here's to the cheerleaders who love their team more than themselves...who skip parties for practice and who go to practice knowing they will be up 'til midnight finishing homework. Here's to the cheerleaders who aren't in the front row of the routine, but are happy to be there at all. In her 1st year with SRJC cheer, Julie proved herself to be one of our most adaptable athletes as a front spot, base and even sometimes a backspot. She has been kind enough to put together team bonding, take on an older sibling type role with her younger teammates and mentor those who need it. She does speech and debate on campus and is such a true leader at heart. Julie we are so proud to call you a bear cub cheerleader. We will be cheering you on in all you do in your future endeavors ❤️

Madam President, thank you for the 3 years of flying, twisting, throwing yourself in funky positions, bending yourself over backwards (literally) and making us all laugh. Your smile is contagious, your laughter is the best medicine and we all adore you, Emily is a 3 year veteran, has served as club president for two years and is such a great flyer, base, backspot and sometimes front spot. A true MVP. We will miss you and all you bring this program when you leave us for nursing school Emmy❤️

I fear we know this Diva🫡 Matthew is a leader on campus and within our program advocating for students of all walks of life. Matthew is a 3 year veteran, killer backspot, represents us on the SRJC Petaluma campus council and shows up to just about every single thing you can think of to make sure the strident voice is heard. If you need someone in your corner, Matthew is there. Matthew, your growth this season has been huge and an honor to watch and we are in awe of you always. We love you!! Photo by

Kaela is a 2 year vet, base and sometimes even backspot and frontspot. You have been so adaptable and have been a great person to say yes whenever we need to throw someone in!! We cannot wait to see all the places you will go chicken 🫶🏼🫶🏼
