We operate a community not-for-profit Judo program. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.. We are a USJA Chartered Club #CA4344.
Our goal is to make the Art and Sport of Judo accessible to all who step on the mat with us - regardless of skill level, fitness level, training focus, age, economic-level, or disability.

Raised in Roseland by a strong network of family and community, Dennis McCarter learned early the value of perseverance, service, and belonging. From founding a nonprofit judo club to becoming an award-winning winemaker and community leader, Dennis has dedicated his life to creating opportunities for others. His story is a testament to the power of resilience, representation, and choosing love in the face of adversity.
Dennis's full story is featured in Santa Rosa's Multicultural Roots project, which honors the contributions of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color who have helped shape our community.
