Labels can be fun - they help us understand ourselves, our personalities, why we do things the way we do.

At times, though, descriptors get in our own way, as we feel we must comply with the adjectives others use to describe us.

Bad news isn’t always easy to handle 😣

I remember a particularly frustrating bummer of a day when it felt like one thing after another...

And I remember sitting on my living room floor writing a poem about it.

Poetry is my favorite art form, yet I’m not always in the mood to write it. Sometimes I get bored of it. Sometimes I’m just not interested...and that’s okay.

I think accepting the comings and goings of inspiration is part of the artistic process 🌦️
