Happy birthday week to me! Registered for my 17th Boston Marathon. $270pp. It has gotten more difficult for me to qualify as I’ve gotten older. I wake up achy everyday. I wake up now concerned for my back for the last couple years. I’ve demanded almost 30 years of frequent competition from my body. However, THIS is my reminder how much I love the process of preparing and earning my results.

Thank you body and mind for staying with me as long as you have. Let’s make age 42 a breakthrough year. 🎂

Came to visit Golden Skybridge, the highest suspension bridge in Canada at 426’ high. It was very empty due to cooler weather and high winds. It was peaceful and reminded me of the suspension bridges of Nepal on the EBC trek and Everest Marathon. What a wonderful land. Thank you Golden for the memories! We loved our visit and grateful for my birthday race weekend with my honey, Tony, and Papa Dog to celebrate 42 years. 🎂
